As members of the Manitoba Chamber of Commerce, members are entitled to participate in the affinity programs to receive discounts, benefits, and can participate in a host of cost-cutting and value-added benefits. Many local members are enrolled in the Group Benefits Plan, receive discounts on their credit card processing fees, etc.

Positions on the Executive can be held up to three years or until the position has been filled. The Treasurer may remain three years, while Directors may hold positions indefinitely.
Board members are volunteers that have been voted in by the members at the Annual General Meeting each year or at a General Meeting. They typically meet once for Board meetings between General meetings. Any business arising that is not covered under the Constitution and By-Laws is governed under Roberts Rules of Order current edition.
Three General Meetings of The Chamber shall be held during the year. Guests are always welcome.
A minimum of two networking events shall be held at a date, time and place determined by the board.
The Annual General Meeting of The Chamber shall be held in each year at a date, time and place determined by the board.

Chamber History
The Beausejour & District Chamber of Commerce began in 1938 when it was founded by dedicated business leaders of our community. For over 85 years, leaders of our business community have served as directors to provide education, leadership, unity, marketing ideas and entertainment for the betterment of our area. The Chamber continues to support the growth of the area, welcoming new businesses into the community. While the activities of the Chamber have varied over the years our operations have primarily been dedicated to Promoting and marketing commerce in the area; Providing training for businesses; and Leading and lobbying major civic changes in the district.
